Lifting heavy
It is very important to preserve our strength as we get older.
Although most of my female clients are starting out telling me " I do not want to get bulky! please don't make me lift heavy!" they soon realize how awesome it feels to be strong, at the same time how much of a myth it is that we get bulky from lifting heavy.
We get bulky from eating badly.
Lifting heavy makes us lean and strong. It creates a solid, muscle-wrapped skeletal system that is able to avoid or decrease osteoporosis.
Lifting creates a sharp mental state. Once you realize how strong you are, what a bad-ass you are and how easily you can lift heavy things, you will realize that the daily heavy lifting that is required of us mentally and emotionally becomes doable as well.
Lifting builds a body that bounces back from anything Ladies!
